Funny Monday # 9

More puddles. We've been a little cooped up because nap schedules are way different around here for the kiddos. So last week while it rained I let Al play on the back porch with chalk. Then when it stopped she was all about the puddles and mud. She actually layed down in a puddle and did puddle angels.

Alligator HAS to wear these glasses now when we go for walks. What a silly girl. Hoping that she becomes a big sister any day now!

Funny Monday #6 - What a view!

This is what I see most of the day when Alligator is awake. If she is teething or sick I see it about a bazillion times a day because all she wants is UP. Notice the belly...it is hard to pick ANYthing up, let alone a 25 pound toddler.

For those of you not on my Facebook list...here is what the rest of the belly looks like. Here is my 37 week belly as of Wednesday March 2nd.

Funny Monday #5

((I meant to post something WITH this picture and I forgot. Woops.))

This picture was from Sunday (2/27/11) at the splash park thing near our house. It was her first time and she LOVED it. I imagine she's saying "HI" to whatever is underneath this grate thing. She likes to say hi to people and things.

Just one of Mommy's breakable headbands...that she put on all by herself! It broke just a few minutes later. =(

Funny Monday #3

Sleeping pictures make me smile. Especially when she does such funny things in her sleep.We just got a new camera for her and Baby Girl #2's room....it lets you take PICTURES from it. Awesome. Now I can show off her silly sleeping ways.

Here are a few older ones first...

10/2/2010 - About 11 months old. Taking this picture ruined a perfectly good nap too. Ooops!

8/10/2010 - About 8 1/2 months old. Looked like she was running in her sleep.

8/4/2010 - About 8 1/2 months old. Sleeping in the car...even food couldn't keep her awake.

These next few are more recent and the quality is horrible because the camera only takes pictures that look good on the handheld monitor. So you might need to squint a bit.  ;-)

Almost 15 months old....

This was just last night (2/13/2010). Like she was trying to hide from us....do you see she put a lovey thing over her face? Cracked us up, I took the picture, then we took it off for just in case safety. Funny girl.

Funny Monday #2

This Monday, like most, sucks. My husband is back to work after what felt like a long weekend, but it wasn't. We have a thousand things (well not really - but feels like it) to do this week and in JUST the right order. This Monday marks the beginning of a crazy, rush around, get stuff done, all while my husband goes out of town AGAIN for a few days.....kind of week. Yuck.

Here are a couple of eyes-closed-but-smiling pictures for your enjoyment.

Monday FunDay?

I don't like Mondays. Mondays mean my husband goes back to work and we barely see him all week long. Oh, the joys of being in management at UPS (or working anywhere I suppose!). So I thought I'd make up my own Monday blogging thing. Funny Mondays or Monday Funday or something like that, I haven't decided what I'm going to call it yet. Mondays suck for most people...whether your Monday happens on an actual Monday or on a Wednesday. I know a lot of people like Wordless Wednesday blog posts so maybe we can have something to look forward to on Mondays too!!

So, like many people, I have SO MANY pictures on my computer (that I back up often by the way - do you back up YOUR pictures? hmmm?) and I was just looking through some tonight. I realized I made a folder of 'bloopers' where Alligator wasn't quite in her best camera ready moment. I only got through 8 or 9 months or so and there are many more funny or odd looking pictures on this computer I'm sure. I'm going to share just a few with you now. Why not more than a few? Because I'm too lazy to dig anymore. ;-)

12/2/2009: About 11 days old. My best friend sent us a cookie bouquet and I was trying to take a quick picture to show the gift to her before I ate it. =) Alligator was NOT pleased. She looks like she's screaming: "Ahhhhh, get these giant cookies off of me!!"

3/20/2010: About 4 months old. I was trying to take a picture of her propped up on the couch, just hanging out. I learned right about this time that she can move out of that little crack on the back of the couch, so leaving her alone was not an option. I of course had time to grab a picture though. ;-)

 5/6/2010: About 5 1/2 months old. Right around this time she started rolling to her belly while she slept. We experimented for half a day with a half swaddle. I found her like this waking up from her nap that day. I think it looks like she's saying: "Ahhh, shit, Monday?!"

6/4/2010: About 6 1/2 months old. I think I was trying to take her 6 month photos a little late. I'm not sure what was going on, but you can tell from her face she was not happy.

8/20/2010: About 9 months old. Obviously I caught a gag face here. Carrots? Squash? I don't know!

 

9/15/2010: About 10 months old. I don't know what I caught here...but I couldn't leave you with a gag face picture. =)

Hope you enjoyed the funny pictures on this Monday. I thought I also would rub it in to any one stuck in snow...our Orlando forecast for Monday 1/31/2011 calls for "Partly Cloudy" and a high of 73 degrees. Yippee!!
