I'm getting married June 10th, and I wanted to make something for my bridesmaids instead of buying them a purse or a generic bridesmaid gift. Plus I just wanted to be able to make something fun.
I found this tutorial online: http://tinyhappy.typepad.com/tiny_happy/2006/06/shoulder_bag_tu.html I also tried a pattern book (Simplicity patterns) but I couldn't "get it" - it didn't make sense to me and I just couldn't get it to work right.
So, I tried TinyHappy's tutorial and my first attempt didn't work so well...but I got the idea down. But then my second attempt worked pretty well. (I just used some scrap white fabric from some curtains I made...)
